Although I have fallen behind a bit since moving out to Las Vegas, it is once again time to upgrade my PC. I used to keep my rig as up to date as my bankroll would allow, but in recent years I have all but abandoned PC gaming. But with a Murderer’s Row of releases coming down the pipe my aging workhorse needed a tuneup. And so while you probably don’t care, future posts on this website will be written on the sturdy back of a new Frankenstein. Though with these parts, that Frankenstein is much more a racehorse than lumbering giant.

My video card is still decent, but will likely be replaced in the coming months as well. This will be my first real upgrade in more than two years so color me excited.
