Damien Rice has been in my head all day, so now it is my subject line… I went and saw the movie Closer today which featured a lot of his music in the soundtrack. Pretty good movie, check it out.
Today was my first day off of work since starting my new schedule in december. Now i only work 3 days a week, which so far is exactly as awesome as you would imagine it to be. I celebrated by waking up at 730am and driving my roommate Los downtown to fight The Man. As it turns out, you can not in fact beat The Man. Los managed to escape this time by dishing out a thousand dollars…. Ok, this is boring already. For me at least, maybe not for you. I already went through today once, I dont particularly feel like living it again through a narrative journal entry.
Anyways, I have felt like updating my journal ever since my last entry. I probably think about writing a new entry at least once every single day. I never do though. By the time I hit the keyboard it just seems so pointless. Truthfully, who wants to hear me bitch about the staggering intelligence of the people working concessions at your local movie theater? or how my car was fixed, or the leather jacket I got a few days ago
