Color me moved.
I disconnect my computer on Friday and haven’t had internet access until sometime this afternoon so I have been a bit out of touch, but at least now I have a new home. After about 25 months living on Silverado Ranch I packed up my crap and got the hell out of there. I’m now a resident of Seven Hills.
Yes, it is every bit as exotic and fancy as it sounds.
The move itself was expectedly horrible, made worse by two things in particular:
1. We moved into a second floor apartment (19 steps up. 19 steps down.)
2. The UHaul truck that we rented died in the middle of the day and left us stranded for about two hours.
Whatever. My whole body hurts and we still don’t have gas at the new apartment but at least I don’t have to carry anything else. I am also really excited about my new bedroom and our new apartment setup as a whole (the entertainment system and lounge is particularly sexy). It is almost a shame that we are getting everything put together just in time for me to fly home for Thanksgiving.
Pictures are available in my gallery for the curious among you. We just moved in 24 hours ago so the place is obviously still under construction.
P.S. : No gas = no hot water = no showers, so I have been making daily trips to the hot tub instead. That’s basically the same thing right??

brian, the water is FREEZING. If it was only ‘just kinda cold’ I would deal, but I would rather wait a few days than stand under arctic thaw.

Stand under arctic thaw then step outside into scalding heat and you’ll end up clean and dry! Man up!

The chairs were pretty much all broken so I gave it away to a lady in a nearby apartment.
