Am I crazy for thinking that $200 + installation really isn’t all that unreasonable to spend on this?

Considering that I work out of my apartment and the only real driving I do on a regular basis is the 5 minute hot-route to Green Valley Ranch or Pizza Hut, this doesn’t seem like the world’s greatest investment. I wonder if it would void my car’s warranty, as well. Still, the idea of playing digital music through my car’s stereo gets me all antsy in my pantsy. Right now I use an FM transmitter to do the job. Sure it gets the job done, albeit in only adequate fashion. But browsing through the ipod kit’s reviews, the transmitter just feels like the bulky low-tech trebuchet to the IceLink’s slim and sleek BFG 9000.

  1. just DO IT

  2. Well, if Northwestern wins against Michigan this week, I think I might do it. I won again at cards tonight and parlayed some of the money onto the Wildcats. NU is a 3 point underdog at home… so hopefully they pull through.

  3. what a waste of money, don’t do it please

you already have one that works and you don’t drive near enough! maybe use that extra loot to pay off some debt?

  4. ooh, you can get it installed in my car…i drive enough to rationalize it. ;)

  5. OR YOU COULD PAY YOUR MOTHER BACK….

  6. The check is in the mail.

  8. if by ‘slim and sleek’ you mean “‘big fucking gun’ which doesn’t even fully describe how huge it is”

  9. Northwestern is probably the worst team in the history of sports.

    They are completely miserable.

  10. I really thought they were going to win that one. If they only had some defense. Last in the NCAA?
